New faces

60 seconds with....... Trevor Bridger
Whether you receive your news by news.com, the newspapers or the TV, you will be aware that it’s been all doom and gloom. In fact many of you have commented sympathetically on how hard it must be dealing with financial planning clients in this climate.

Meet the Graduates!
A new year has begun and with that arrives a new wave of fresh faced graduates, interns & undergraduates!  With all twenty commencing their roles at BDO Kendalls this week, the team at BInformed will be profiling a new person every week so when you see them in the hall you can give them a friendly BDOK hello!  This week we feature Lisa Salotti.

News from our teams...

BRI almost up to warp speed!
This week we welcome a couple of new faces into the BRI family. We have Michael Congram and Rebecca Boyes joining us, which has coincided with a game of musical chairs for the rest of the team. We will be at full capacity next week when another two staff join BRI bringing the grand total to 22. Michael (aka Congo the surfer from Palm Beach) has been out of the office since he started on a job on the GC playing with funny money.

The upcoming triathlon is being taken very seriously by some. Superstar Brushe has a set of swimming skins that would make Thorpey jealous. They're currently hanging at his desk I think in an effort to intimidate other participants. Couple this, with the return of the BWell breakfast and his daily can of Solo, and the Brushe will be unstoppable.

Brushey, Hayley, Nathaniel, John and Roger are lining up for Bwell's boot camp this afternoon. There has been significant sums of money offered up for Brushe to turn up in his spandex skins (Donations from the rest of the firm are encouraged).

The return of Channel 10's 'So you think you can dance' was excitedly received by couch judge Charles who has been inspired to pirouette and ponche his way around the office. He really is very light on his feet.

Speaking of feet - Andrew has returned from his Christmas vacation and his feet are yet to touch the floor. He did find the time (it took less than half a day) to turn his beautifully clean office back into a paper graveyard of organised chaos!! The Fielding's had a fabulous time conquering Disneyland, Vegas and skiing in Canada, and everybody returned home in one piece.

We do manage to get some work done here in BRI, in fact there is plenty happening. I'd tell you all about it, but then I'd have to kill you. Shhh. Secret squirrel.

Tax Superheroes
Now that all hands are back on deck and returned from leave...This week we have said good bye and good luck to Alan Mondolo on Wednesday but we will also be saying good bye to Ian McGinniss this Friday. He and his partner are packing up and heading for Canada, nothing better than breathing in that fresh mountain air!! Valentine's Day came early for a certain PA in Tax and if you come down to L14 bring your sunnies, the 'bling' is blinding :) We'd also like to welcome Kevin to our team, he's our new grad in Tax and we also have Cameron doing some work experience in our Team. Over and out and may the force be with you...

Corporate Finance - all systems go!
The last of the team, David S is finally back from his Christmas hols, which I believe he spent playing Wii !!! Good to have you back Dave. Adelaide's engagement party was a huge success and I believe she has been inundated with loads of gifts. Michael spent Saturday at the Chinese New Year celebration and found the music quite interesting. Mark D is in Townsville this week and Mark W is absolutely chuffed with his new Espresso machine which he finally treated himself to after much consideration. Steven is jointly presenting on Business Valuations with KPMG at the Institute of Chartered Accountants this week.

Team SBR - up for the challenge
We've only just heard, that our lovely Gayle Williams is transferring out to take up a whole new bunch of challenges to work with David Wilson in Tax. We're losing a fabulous member of our team, but David is definitely gaining a valuable asset. Congratulations and good luck, Gayle - we'll miss you!
